2011: "Schoolhouse Rock LIVE! Jr."
Directed by Jensen Stauffer & Jenny Stauffer
On his first day of teaching, Tom wakes up early and begins to worry... is he really ready? He turns on the television and a Schoolhouse Rock cartoon begins to play... and out of his imagination come the characters from the cartoons! They promise to help him be sure he knows everything he needs to know.
Tom and the characters review classic Schoolhouse Rock songs to review subjects like English ("Unpack My Adjectives", "A Noun is a Person, Place, or Thing," "Conjunction Junction"), Math ("Three is a Magic Number"), History ("Elbow Room", "The Preamble", "Great American Melting Pot"), Science ("Interplanet Janet", "Do the Circulation"), and Government ("I'm Just a Bill"). In the end, Tom recognizes the FUN in learning and finally feels ready to teach. Before the cartoons leave, however, they run through one final number... "Interjections!" Darn, that's the end! |
